I had a very helpful and professional visit for my state vehicle inspection. The one part I needed to pass the inspection was installed quickly and for a reasonable price. I will be sure to come back to this auto shop for my future auto needs.

First, I have to say that Carmasters was recommended to me by a national chain that normally provides a full-service garage. But the problem with my car was beyond the capability of the national chain. I have been a customer of that chain for more than 30 years, so that alone should tell you about the reputation that Carmaster has in this community. The staff was very friendly, they treated me with respect, and they were very fair. Unfortunately, my car needed a new engine and the expense was, frankly, more than what the car is worth, but that's par for the course with engines. The Carmaster staff knew that there was no benefit to me to have my engine replaced and did not pressure me to do so. Furthermore, they said they would have counseled me against paying for the cost of replacing the engine for the same reason I decided not to get the replacement. So, even though my car wasn't repaired, it was simply because I didn't want it to be. Because of the way I was treated, my experience with them was a good one and their friendliness and respect are enough for me to recommend them to others. If they treat cars the way they treat people, I imagine they do a good job.
